When we got to our room in Kotor, Montenegro – which proved to be a shared apartment with another couple – it was raw cane sugar in the cupboard waiting for me. I took this as a sign that I had to make cookies.
With a water heater, oatmeal and whole wheat flour, it worked in my favor. I also used raisins, cinnamon and coconut, but you can add any combination of goodies you want.
