Preparation for Making Granola Bar

Many people often skip their breakfast, but did you know that a good breakfast is probably the most important meal of the day? To begin to fill up with healthy goodness pump up your metabolism and will probably keep you strong all day.

PREPARATION

* Preheat oven to 325 º F.

* In a large bowl, combine honey, cinnamon, applesauce and vanilla. Completely mixed in the oatmeal, mix thoroughly until all the oats are completely covered. Stir in almonds and raisins until well coated.

* Place the pan in the oven and cook for 25 minutes. Remove from oven baking sheet to cool so that for a while. When using a metal mold, you can actually put it in the freezer for a few minutes.

If you have a glass dish, please do not put it in the freezer! You could risk breaking the mold of glass, and more importantly, what do you risk your granola bar treats!

* After the mixture is cooled, remove from pan by pulling the parchment paper. Slices in bars like big or small as you want.
